I have been using Wordpress since around 2012 and build custom themes based on your websites criteria. Wordpress is a great CMS and with the right plugins the possibilities are endless.
My e-commerce experience has mostly been developing custom WooCommerce themes for Wordpress stores, but I have also developed a number of custom BigCommerce themes, and have dabbled a little with Shopify.
I start all my projects with HTML5 and CSS3, using LESS to write my CSS and responsive media queries.
